The coffin with Berlusconi’s body arrived at the cathedral at 4 o’clock Greek time, while the political leadership of Italy, the emir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad, the president of Hungary Viktor Orban, the president of Iraq Abdul Latif Rashid and the president of the EPP Manfred Weber.
In the first row of seats, inside the church, was Cavaliere’s eldest daughter Marina, his last partner Marta Fasina visibly devastated and, a few meters away, ex-wife Veronica Lario.

After the funeral, the body of the Italian tycoon and former prime minister will be cremated and placed in the mausoleum he had createdi, by his will, in the park of his villa in Arcore, just outside Milan.
They arrived at the Duomo early dozens of wreaths, while thousands of people, supporters of Forza Italia but also Milan and AC Monza fansgroups of which Silvio Berlusconi was president, had gathered around the square of the cathedral to watch the funeral on giant screens and to say goodbye to “Presidente Silvio”.
