Archbishop Elpidophoros of America will have a series of meetings with the clergy of each Diocese of the Archdiocese of America in the coming weeks, in order to immediately inform them about the revision of the Constitution of the Archdiocese of America and to give them the necessary clarifications through the questions they will ask him.

In fact, the Archbishop of America, in the context of an extraordinary meeting of the Holy Synod of the Archdiocese, primarily invited the synodal high priests to submit their opinions and discuss the whole matter in the spirit of the recent official announcement of the Holy Synod of the Ecumenical Patriarchate.

Additionally, in the direction of implementing the mandate given by Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew to the Holy Synod of the Archdiocese of America to extend the Constitution revision discussion to all laity and clergy in the USA, Archbishop of America Elpidophoros announced the launch of a website, with aimed at providing complete and accurate information about the proposed revision.

The specialized digital platform was developed under the guidance of Archbishop of America Elpidophoros, who emphasized that “this is a critical step in our mission to ensure transparency, engagement and a collective approach to the proposed changes to the Constitution.”

Personally, he emphasized, “I consider that the website enables me to share my vision and enables all believers to participate in a dialogue about the future of our Church”.

The new website will host sections titled ‘What is the Constitution?’, ‘Why is a new Constitution needed?’ and “Frequently Asked Questions”.

Visitors to the site will also be able to watch videos and presentations, study canon law documents and past press releases and announcements from both the Ecumenical Patriarchate and the Archdiocese of America, and be reliably informed about the entire process.
