Amid desperate rescue efforts of five passengers that are trapped in the Titan submarineand with the time to save them is running outif it’s not over, a video has been released online that shows the unimaginable depth which Titan is said to have reached.

The videowhich quickly went viral on social media, it’s awe-inspiringgiving a measure of how “small” we are.

The 3D videocreated by Spanish animation company MetaBallStudios, depicts a seascape filled with sunken world landmarksas if all the treasures of the Earth had been lost under the sea in a new “Atlantis”.

While video descends into the digital depths, passes through various world landmarks wrought by human hands, such as… tiny in comparison Statue of Liberty (93 meters), the Eiffel Tower (300 meters) and the skyscraper Burj Khalifa (828 meters) or natural landmarks such as the bottom of the Southern Ocean (3,270 meters).

After all, the viewer is transported to the wreckage of the Titanic, about 3,700 meters below the surface, at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean – where rescuers suspect the Titan is trapped after it disappeared on Sunday.
