They have caused outrage in France videos making the rounds on the internet with the French president, Emmanuel Macron, to attend an Elton John concert in Paris as riots raged across the country after a teenager was shot dead by a police officer.

Footage from the video appears to be from the A stageccor Arena in Paris on Wednesday nighton the second night of riots in France, as the Independent reports.

According to the same publication, the footage shows Macron rhythmically tapping his foot on the 76-year-old pianist as he performed hits like “Saturday Night’s Alright for Fighting” and “Burn Down the Mission.”

THE Elton John and his husband David Furnish they also posted a photo on Instagram on Thursday that shows them meeting with Macron.
