A car crashed into a primary school a while ago in Wimbledonsouth west of London, injuringaccording to the Daily Mail, nine people, seven of whom are children.

According to the Evening Standard, the driver of the vehicle felt unwell and lost control of the car which crashed into the school.

According to initial reports, the accident happened at a school on Camp Road and there are many injured.

To school they teach girls from 4 to 11 years oldbut it is not yet known if there are children among the injured.

Merton Police tweeted that “a car crashed into the school building”adding: “Many people are being treated at the scene.”

The area is blocked and the police, the fire brigade and ambulances as well as a helicopter have rushed to the scene.

“We are not treating this incident as terrorism-related. An investigation is underway to understand the full circumstances of what happened.” Merton police said in a new update.
