The head of the fast food chain McDonald’s in the United Kingdom apologized after a BBC report was published today alleging cases sexual harassment, racism and bullying aimed at the company’s staff.

More than 100 former and current employees in the American company have made the complaints, according to the BBC which started the relevant investigation in February.

“The employees, sometimes barely 17 years oldthey received sexual harassment without their consent and almost daily sexual harassment,” the British network writes on its website, citing testimonies from staff members.

“All 177,000 employees at McDonald’s UK are entitled to work in a safe, respectful and inclusive working environment. There are clearly instances where we have been inadequate and for these we humbly apologise,” he said Alastair McCrow on the BBC answering the charges.

As he added, “all proven violations of the code of ethics will be dealt with by the strictest measures we can legally impose, up to and including dismissal.”
