The Croatian Bar Association commented on the post of the lawyer who has represented members of the “Bad Blue Boys”, who called AEK fans “scum”
Davorin Karadzic’s posting caused a stir on Facebook, where, among other things, he wrote that “AEK fans are the biggest human scum out there. They are human garbage, drug addicts, leftists and anarchists, throwing Molotov cocktails and stomping on heads».
In fact, the lawyer who has represented members of the “Bad Blue Boys” in several trials and is declared Dinamo Zagreb fan argued that events happened completely differently and in no way played out as the media described them.
The largest Croatian website (INDEX) contacted the Croatian Bar Association for the whether disciplinary proceedings have been brought against Karadzic and informed that all the necessary actions are being taken to make the best decisions.
“Regarding your question about the posts of Davorin Karadzic, a lawyer in Zagreb, who on his Facebook profile referred to the conflict between fans of the clubs Dinamo and AEK, please be informed that the Disciplinary Prosecutor of the Croatian Bar Association has officially filed a disciplinary investigation, based on the provisions of the Statute of the Croatian Bar Association. Inquiries will be made against the appointed lawyer to determine whether there are grounds for a decision to initiate disciplinary proceedings.
