According to the counter-terrorism agency of Iraqi Kurdistan, “a Turkish army drone targeted a PKK vehicle near Nalpares,” a community in Sulaymaniyah province on the road leading to the border with Iran. “A high-ranking PKK official, a fighter and the driver were killed,” the statement added.
This was the fourth bombing against PKK members since Sunday. In total, six people have been killed.
Earlier, the Turkish Defense Ministry announced that six Turkish soldiers were killed in clashes with the PKK in northern Iraq.
