THE Ukraine will have the ability to use fighter aircraft F-16 which will be procured from Denmark and the Netherlands within its territory, the Danish Minister of Defense clarified Jacob Ellemann – Jensen according to the Ritzau agency.

Denmark and the Netherlands announced yesterday that they will supply Ukraine with F-16s, the first six of which are expected to be delivered early next year.

“We provide weapons on the condition that they will be used to drive the enemy out of the territory of Ukraine. And for nothing beyond that,” said the Danish Defense Minister.

“These are the termsbe it tanks, fighter jets or anything else.”

Denmark will supply Ukraine in total with 19 aircraft. The Netherlands has 42 F-16s, but it has not been decided whether all will be sent to Ukraine.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said yesterday that the fighter jets will strengthen Ukraine’s air defenses and contribute to the Ukrainian counterattack against Russian forces.
