A video posted on social media shows masked men said to be Wagner fighters vowing revenge on Moscow for Prigozhin’s death
The paramilitary organization appeared a while ago on its official channel Yevgeny Prigozhin, pointing out that you should “trust only our official sources”. It is estimated that the announcement was made through Prigozhin’s channel to give the announcement greater prestige.
A similar announcement was made by another Wagner channel late at night after it was learned that his private jet Russian warlord crashedand met his death together with the co-founder of the organization Dmitry Utkin, as well as other high-ranking officials.
The Russian news agency Readovka, closely associated with Prigozhin, reported that the paramilitary organization had one “long-established mechanism for action in the event of the death of Yevgeny Prigozhin or Dmitry Utkin.”
A source confirmed: “In the event of Prigozhin’s death, there is a mechanism for “full mobilization” – regardless of who was responsible for his death.”
The announcement
“Friends. Once again, we want to remind you that the statements that have allegedly appeared from PMC Wagner commanders are false. None of our commanders, publicly or not, have declared anything. Only trust our official sources.”
It is noted that a video posted on social networks shows masked men who are allegedly Wagner fighters and vow to take revenge on Moscow for Prigozhin’s death, announcing “we’re starting!”.
Moreover, Ukrainian sources, citing sources in Minsk, claim that mercenaries based in Belarus appear to be moving towards the border with Russia, but Belarusian forces are trying to stop them.
