Terrifying moments were experienced by the passengers of a flight from Alicante, Spain to Majorca
Passengers on a flight from Alicante, Spain to Majorca experienced a terrifying moment on Saturday when their plane was hit by a storm that was lashing the area.
The strong turbulence caused the aircraft to jerk so much that it lost altitude, while the shocked passengers screamed, cried and even vomited.
The scenes of panic and chaos were recorded on video by Spanish acrobat Estela Orts who was on board the plane.
In it, passengers can be seen “glued” to their seats and screaming in terror as the aircraft shakes.
In a lengthy post on social media, Orts wrote that she was “reborn” after the experience on the plane, while also thanking the pilot for navigating the difficult conditions.
“Now I am calmer… TODAY I AM BORN AGAIN. I hope the pilot of the plane reads this: THANK YOU, thank you for what you did today, the minutes seemed like ages but in the end it was just a scare. It was the first time in my life that it occurred to me that THIS IS it,” she wrote.
