The “last goodbye” to the 30-year-old ace was said by the Ukrainians in the Patriarchal Cathedral of Kyiv
Today, Tuesday, Ukraine plunged into mourning at the funeral of the legendary “Juice” (his call sign), one of the country’s most famous fighter pilots.
The reason for him Andrei Pilchikov, who was killed along with two other pilots in a plane crash when two training planes collided on August 25 in Zhytomyr.
The Ukrainians said the “last goodbye” to the 30-year-old ace in the Patriarchal Cathedral of Kyiv.
Pitsilkov distinguished himself for his bravery in the Ukrainian war, and his heavy loss was mentioned by Volodymyr Zelensky and other high-ranking Ukrainian officials.
The 30-year-old signalman was a pilot 2nd class and holder of the Order of Courage 3rd class.
