Another big change to the X platform was announced by Elon Musk
A big change is coming to the X platform, formerly twitter, as announced by Elon Musk.
As he announced, calls and video calls will soon be available on X, in an attempt by Musk to tackle Meta.
Specifically, he said that these features will be available on iOS, Android, Mac and PC systems. At the same time, he announced that a phone number would not be needed, however, he did not say when this feature would be available.
Video & audio calls coming to X:
– Works on iOS, Android, Mac & PC
– No phone number needed
– X is the effective global address bookThat set of factors is unique.

It’s been nearly two weeks since Musk announced his intentions to remove the blocking feature from every aspect of X except for instant messaging.
Although this has yet to materialize, it could mean that users won’t be able to restrict who they interact with online. This was met with strong concern by X users, with many fearing harassment and scams.
The changes at Platform X come as its ad business plummets. Since Musk took over Twitter last October, advertisers have not taken kindly to the mass layoffs he’s made.
