TikTok influencer Mahek Bukhar has been sentenced to life in prison for double murderand her mother after a threat they received for releasing recorded material from private moments.

Buhari sobbed on hearing the sentence for killing her mother’s lover and his boyfriend in a car chase that ended in the deaths of the two men. Her mother Ansreen Buhari, 46, was also found guilty of the murders.

Shakib Hussain and Mohammad Ijazuddinboth 21, died when their Skoda “literally split in two” and burst into flames after it veered off the road and crashed into a tree.

Hussain had threatened to reveal the love affair he and Ansreen Bukhari had.

Bukhari, 24, and her mother denied two counts of murder but were convicted by a jury.

Shortly before he died, Hussain called 999 to police saying Mr Itjazuddin’s silver Skoda Fabia had been rammed by two cars. In the recorded call played at Leicester Crown Court, she was heard saying: “They’re trying to get us off the road. Please, I’m begging you, I’m going to die.”.

He also said “Oh my God”, before a scream was heard and the call was interrupted by the impact.

The court ruled they were deliberately taken off the road in an “ambush” after Hussain had threatened to publish a pornographic film and reveal his long-term relationship with the influencer’s 46-year-old mother.
