Prince Andrew continues to be in last place, with just 6% of Britons saying they have a favorable opinion of him
A few days before the one-year anniversary of Queen Elizabeth’s death on September 8, Prince William he is first in the preferences of Britons among the other members of the royal family, according to a new poll.
Prince William narrowly prevailed over his wife Kate Middleton, in the new survey conducted by the British polling company YouGov. The researchers found that 61% of Britons favor the monarchy – a figure slightly down after the outpouring of love recorded with the news of the Queen’s death at the age of 96.
According to YouGov, William has a positive opinion 74% of the British, for Kate 72%, while Charles’s sister, Princess Anne gathers 73%.
60% of Britons have a positive opinion of King Charles, who took over the reins of the British monarchy after the death of his mother on September 8 last year.
In the last places are Prince Harry and Meghan Markle with 31% and 24% respectively, while it is observed that they are much more popular with Britons under 30 years of age. In contrast, Prince William and Kate are universally loved by all age groups.
