The official talks between leaders of Russia Vladimir Putin and North Korea Kim Jong Un were concluded today after more than two hours at the summit held at the Vostochny Cosmodrome in the Russian Far East.
According to the Russian state news agency TASS, talks were initially held in the presence of delegations, followed by a tete-a-tete between the two leaders.
A dinner is currently being arranged in Kim’s honor, according to TASS.
A journalist covering the Kremlin said the meal would start with a duck, fig and nectarine salad, followed by Russian “pelmeni” (thin dough dumplings) stuffed with Kamchatka crab, then fish soup with carp and sea buckthorn sorbet.
As a main course, leaders can choose between sturgeon with mushrooms and potatoes or veal entrecote with grilled vegetables.
For dessert, they will be offered red blueberries from the taiga with pine nuts and condensed milk.
The two leaders will accompany their meal with white and red wines from the Divnomorskoye estate in southern Russia.
