Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky hailed the destruction of a Russian Triumf air defense system in the Russian-annexed Crimean peninsula.
“Special mention should go to the entire staff of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), as well as the navy,” Zelensky said in a video message broadcast Thursday night.
“Thank you for today’s triumph… Invaders’ air defense system destroyed. Very important, congratulations!” continued the Ukrainian president.
