The Russian Defense Ministry announced via Telegram that in the early hours of the morning air defense systems destroyed seven remote-controlled unmanned aerial vehicles of Ukraine, six near the Crimean peninsula.

In three separate announcements, the ministry said four drones were destroyed between 01:45 and 02:20 (local and Greek time) off the north-eastern and eastern coasts of the Crimean peninsula, and two more around 01:15 off of the western coast of Crimea.

He made no mention of casualties or damage.

Besides, around 01:45, another Ukrainian drone was destroyed in the Istra district of the Moscow region, according to posts by the Ministry of Defense and the mayor of the Russian capital, Sergey Sabianin.

Mr. Sabianin assured that “according to preliminary information there was no damage or casualties” at the site where the debris fell.

Ukrainian drone attacks against targets or communities on Russian soil, particularly near the border, on the Crimean peninsula and in the capital Moscow, have multiplied in recent months, against the backdrop of Kiev’s counteroffensive that began in early June.
