Twelve women accuse the creator of abuse and harassment between 2014 and 2022
Netflix’s hit Rick and Morty co-creator Justin Roiland may have been acquitted of domestic violence charges six months ago, but now he’s facing a new complaint.
According to a Rolling Stone report cited by NBC, he is accused of sexually abusing women, including minors.
According to reports circulating in recent days, 12 women have accused the creator of abuse and harassment via text messages between 2014 and 2022.
In fact, nine of the twelve women claim that Roiland was the one who gave the conversations a sexual character, while three of them stated that they were only 16 years old when it all started.
According to Rolling Stone, NBC says it has material including photos, videos, social media posts, emails and airline ticket and Uber receipts related to the matter that prove Roiland’s abusive behavior. One woman claimed that the creator forced her to give him oral sex, despite her refusal, while another that he took advantage of her, as she remembers having intercourse with him while he had been drinking alcohol. So far, Roiland has not made any statement on the matter.
