Spain has been shocked by the death of at least 13 people from a fire that broke out at 6 am on Sunday in the club where they were having fun, in the city of Murcia. All of them were charred, while two more people are missing in the ruins of the burned nightclub, with no hope of being found alive.
Today, a Spanish journalist posted on social media a video-document of people having fun inside the club a few hours before the disaster.
In the pictures, patrons can be seen lighting fireworks inside the store and dancing while holding them.
The tragedy of Murcia could have been even worse. Si llega a ser a las 3 de la morninga habrÃa habido centenares de muertos. Viendo estas imágenes uno entiende por qué pasó. pic.twitter.com/6KXZI9LzW0

“The Murcia tragedy could have been even worse. If it happened at 3 in the morning there would be hundreds of deaths. Seeing these images one understands why it happened” writes Javier Negre.
Commenting on the video-documentary, one user wrote that “criminal and of course civil liability rests with the nightclub for gross negligence in allowing fireworks on the premises. To this end, the charge of manslaughter is possible, which entails the maximum penalty imposed on these heartless and irresponsible people who caused this tragedy.”
