Speaking earlier to French news agency LaPresse, the CEO of bus owner La Linea Spa, Massimo Fiorese described the video.

As he said, “no one knows yet exactly what happened, what we do know is that there was a fixed camera on the overpass. From what I’ve seen from the pictures, from what little you can see, you can see the bus arriving (at the spot) at less than 50km an hour, you see the stop lights come on, so he would have braked.
