Angelina Jolie claims the judge overseeing her child custody case was “biased” and favored her ex-husband Brad Pitt.

As the NYP reports, the actress is now using her experience to push legislation and rein in “corrupt” court officials.

In a two-page letter, dated Sept. 29, obtained by the media, the actress and former Goodwill Ambassador urged California Gov. Gavin Newsom to support “Piqui’s Law,” which would require domestic violence training for judges , mediators and other court professionals and the effects of child abuse and trauma.

A source close to Jolie told the NYP that the actress is pushing for the legislation after the psychological trauma she faced with Los Angeles District Judge John W. Ouderkirk, who refused to allow her children to testify about domestic violence they experienced at the hands of their father their.

This whole thing is very personal to her and she does it for good reason. Look what she faced from a biased judge who was removed from the appellate court for her corrupt and secret financial dealings with Brad Pitt’s legal team. She violated judicial ethics in her family’s case and refused to look into evidence of domestic abuse,” says a source close to Jolie.

“It’s no surprise that he took up this matter. Her entire family is a victim of system failure. She has been fighting privately for her family, but also publicly for other families, for years“, he said.
