Doctors Without Borders warned of severe shortages of medicine, medical supplies and electricity.
In a statement, Avril Benoit, executive director of Doctors Without Borders in the US, said “there are shortages of water, electricity and fuel, which hospitals rely on for their generators.”
A Doctors Without Borders clinic in Gaza City was “slightly damaged” by an explosion last Monday but is still operating, Benoit said.
A nurse and an ambulance driver were killed in the strikes and several others were injured, he added.
At least 1,200 people died in Israel after the unprecedented attack by Hamas last Saturday, according to the Israel Defense Forces.
Doctors Without Borders said it currently has no medical programs operating in Israel, but has offered its support to Israeli hospitals treating “large numbers of victims”.
