IDF forces (tanks and infantry units) searched Gaza for hostages taken by Hamas – Thousands of civilians fled Gaza after Israeli ultimatum
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) announced that it carried out local raids in the outskirts of the Gaza Strip in order to complete the effort to clear the area of Hamas terrorists and weapons. “Efforts will also be made in these operations in the Gaza Strip to locate missing persons” emphasized in the announcement.
It is noted that the Israeli ultimatum to evacuate the Gaza Strip (8 p.m.) has expired.
IDF forces (tanks and infantry units) were searching for hostages taken by Hamas. During efforts to locate the missing, Israeli forces killed Hamas terrorist units, including one that fired an anti-tank guided missile.

According to the army, Israeli forces “scanned and collected various findings that may help in the effort to locate the missing.”
The IDF also reported that Israeli forces they killed a number of terrorists in the area, including a Hamas cell that fired anti-tank guided missiles into Israel.
Israeli troops they did not penetrate deep into Gaza, clarified.
IDF spokesman Vice Admiral Daniel Hagari said armored and infantry forces conducted searches and “intercepted groups of guided anti-tank missiles intended to penetrate Israeli territory.”
“The forces have found findings that may help in the effort to locate the missing,” Hagari said.
“We will continue to make every effort to trace every detail about the missing and the hostages,” he added.

The Israeli military also claimed that a significant number of civilians in Gaza began moving south “to save themselves”.
It is estimated that 150-200 people hostages were taken by Hamas during its murderous attack last Saturday. The IDF has so far notified the families of 120 hostages that their loved ones are being held in the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli military announced earlier this afternoon that it “urges the Palestinians to leave the northern Gaza Strip until 8 in the evening”.
The Israeli military’s Arabic-language spokesman, Avichay Adraee, said the Palestinians they have until 8 p.m. to move south of Wadi Gaza, hinting that the army is preparing for a massive operation in the northern Gaza Strip.
“If you are worried about yourself and your loved ones, you should head south as per our instructions. Rest assured that Hamas leaders care only to protect themselves,” Adraee said characteristically.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) initially notified the Palestinians at midnight on Friday that they had 24 hours to remove themselves.
#عاجل 🔴 residents of Gaza City,
وتمن بمناشدتكم سباحاً لمغادرة مدينة غازا إلى فولودة جومون وادي غازا, حفاضاً على سلامتكم. I would like to inform you that the Israeli Defense Forces will not touch the route specified in the map until 20:00.

Palestinians began to leave Gaza, by whatever means they could, after Israel’s ultimatum. With whatever personal belongings they can spare they are heading to the south of Gaza in an attempt to save themselves from the coming destruction.

Hundreds of cars, motorcycles and trucks, heavily laden with belongings, are heading to the southern Gaza Strip.
People even travel with cows, camels, sheep and donkeys.
Many families took the escape route on foot, walking several kilometers until they reached a safe place.

According to the UN, more than 423,000 people have now been forced from their homes in the Gaza Stripdue to Israel’s bombing of the Palestinian enclave.
In a move interpreted by many as the margins for the start of Israel’s ground attack on Gaza are narrowingthe Israeli army in a statement called for the evacuation of all civilians from the city to the south.
Yes, the israeli army dropped thousands of leaflets in gaza in order to warn residents to evacuate.
“Evacuate your homes immediately and go south of Wadi Gaza,” the drone-dropped leaflets read in Arabic. On a map included in the leaflets there is an arrow pointing south, below a line drawn through the center of the Gaza Strip.

The reaction came first from the UN as it said it was “impossible” for the Palestinians to follow Israel’s evacuation warning within the next 24 hours.
In particular, the UN representative, Stéphane Dujarric, said in a statement that the order to evacuate 1.1 million people is impossible without catastrophic humanitarian consequences.
Hamas calls on civilians to stay in their homes
Hamas’s reaction to the evacuation order was immediate, calling on Palestinians to stay in their homes.
“Stay in your homes and stand firm in the face of this disgusting psychological warfare waged by the occupying power“, he said.
Reports speak of an effort by Hamas to prevent the evacuation of Gaza. Hamas militants operate in civilian areas and Israel has long accused them of using Palestinians as human shields.
So, analysts say, a mass evacuation of civilians, if carried out, would leave their fighters more exposed than ever before.
