Lebanese Hezbollah fighters fired a rocket at a border village in northern Israel today, killing one Israeli citizen and wounding three others, Hezbollah and Israeli doctors said.
Doctors had initially announced that two people were injured in the attack in the village of Stoula, a rural community opposite the Lebanese community of Aita al-Shab.
The Israeli army announced that it was striking Lebanon in retaliation.
