Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has announced via Instagram that she is divorcing her partner of ten years, Andrea Giabruno.

More specifically, in her post on Instagram, she states that “our paths have separated for some time now and it’s time to announce it.”

“I will defend at all costs what we were, our friendship and above all our 7-year-old daughter who loves her mother and father as I failed to do mine,” he added.

The Prime Minister of Italy thanks her partner for the years they spent together.

“Thank you for the wonderful years we spent together, the difficulties we experienced and for giving me the most important person in my life, our daughter, Ginevra”
