The cooperation of the residents of Gaza for a fee is requested by the Israeli army to provide information about the locations where Hamas is holding Israeli hostages.

In particular, the Israeli army dropped leaflets in northern Gaza while in a post on X, it says it is offering “security and reward” for information that could lead to the rescue of the hostages.

The IDF also promises protection and confidentiality.

Recall that Hamas kidnapped 222 hostages in the deadly October 7 attacks in southern Israel, according to the latest IDF count.
