The Israeli government has released video of the touching moment in which female soldier Ori Megiddis, who was kidnapped by Hamas on October 7 and released by the Israeli army, meets her grandmother.

“The moment Ori Megiddis, who was kidnapped by Hamas on 7/10, was reunited with her grandmother. We will do everything we can to bring the rest of our families home,” reads the caption on the video posted on the X platform.

Megiddis was freed on Sunday night, three weeks after she was kidnapped along with more than 220 other hostages by Hamas. After a medical check-up he was found to be healthy. She then reunited with her family, giving them joy.

It is recalled that Israeli army spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, during a new briefing, said the army would continue its efforts to free the remaining hostages held by Hamas in the Gaza Strip after the forces rescued Corporal Ori Megiddis in an overnight operation.

As Megiddis stated, she was able to remember everything she saw in the Gaza Strip, which, she said, could be used in future operations.
