With threats from both sides, the war between Israel and Hezbollah is intensifying at the leadership level now.

Before it’s even over the speech of the leader of HezbollahHassan Nasrallah, the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, warned the organization not to test Israel and warned that it would “pay dearly” if it did.

In particular, Netanyahu responding to the message of the Hezbollah leader that he delivered “we are prepared for any scenario” he warned the Shiite organization that “don’t test us, you will pay dearly”.

He said that the country’s forces are operating in full force on all fronts.

Earlier, in a hostile tone towards Israel and its allies Hassan Nasrallah had delivered his expected speech, who referring to past conflicts said “remember your defeats in Lebanon and Iraq and your humiliating withdrawal from Afghanistan. Those who defeated you in Lebanon in the 1980s are still alive and their children and grandchildren are ready to face you.”

The Hezbollah leader though he avoided giving a clear answer to the question of whether Hezbollah would declare war on Israel, warned that “all options are open. We must be ready for all options” and added that “we have been involved in this battle since October 8”.

Referring to the clashes raging on the border with southern Lebanon between Israel and Hezbollah, Nasrallah argued that they forced Israel to keep its forces near the Lebanese border, rather than in the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank.

Referring to the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7, the Hezbollah leader maintained that the operation was 100% Palestinian with his organization feigning ignorance.
