He reported that the IDF has information about a tunnel network under the Indonesian Hospitalas well as aerial photographs showing rocket launchers a few tens of meters from the compound.
“Hamas systematically built the Indonesian Hospital to cover up its underground terrorist infrastructure,” Haggari said.
The IDF spokesman also presented recordings of calls between Hamas officials describing the use of fuel stocks belonging to the Indonesian Hospital.
The IDF has accused Hamas of having its main base of operations under the Sifa Hospitalthe largest medical center in Gaza, as well as stockpiling fuel for terrorist purposes.
Hagari also reiterated the actions taken by the Israeli army to warn Palestinians to move from northern Gaza to the south.
The Israeli Air Force dropped more than a million and a half airdrops on northern Gaza, Hagari said, adding that he made more than 20,000 phone calls to people in those areas to evacuate the civilian population.
“Our war is with Hamas, not with the civilians in Gaza. We will not accept Hamas’s cynical use of hospitals to hide its terrorist infrastructure. Hamas’s exploitation of hospitals must end,” the Israeli spokesman warned.
