Tayyip Erdogan launched a new attack against Israel shortly before the visit to Turkey of the US Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken, stating that “it is Turkey’s duty to stop the bloodshed in Gaza».

Speaking at a local inauguration ceremony in the Black Sea province of Rize, Erdogan said Turkey had an obligation to “save the Palestinians from Israel’s oppression.”

“It is our duty to stop the bloodshed in Gaza, which is taking place in front of the eyes of the international community,” the Turkish president said, adding “we are doing and will continue to do more than is visible.”

At the same time, Erdogan announced that “Turkey will never abandon its brothers and sisters in Gaza. It is our historic responsibility to call out the crimes of those who support this immoral, ruthless, despicable massacre.”

“It is our humanitarian duty to pursue the murderers who take the lives of children, mothers and innocent people throughout the Palestinian territories, as well as the thieves who loot the properties of the oppressed,” Erdogan told X on Sunday.

“Furthermore, it is our historical responsibility to highlight their crimes wherever we meet those who support the perpetrators of this immoral, heartless and despicable massacre,” Erdogan added.
