Commandos of the Shayetet 13 unit and members of the 401st Armored Brigade of the Israeli Armed Forces (IDF), who raided Gaza’s Al Radisi Children’s Hospital, discovered Hamas yafkas in the compound’s basement.

In a video message in English, IDF spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said that “underneath the hospital, in the basement, we found a Hamas operations center, explosive vests, grenades, AK-47 assault rifles, explosive devices, RPGs ( including rocket launchers) and other weapons”.

“We also found evidence suggesting that Hamas was holding hostages here,” Hagari said, adding that “after the October 7 massacre, Hamas terrorists returned to this hospital, among other things, after slaughtering Israelis inside their homes.”

“Hamas is hiding inside hospitals. Today, we are revealing it to the whole world,” said the spokesman of the Israeli armed forces.

Rear Admiral Haggari said the IDF has been working for days to safely evacuate patients from Al Radisi and other hospitals in the northern Gaza Strip. “The war is against Hamas, not against the people of Gaza. Especially not against the sick, women and children,” he stressed and accused Hamas of using civilians as “human shields.”
