Itamar Ben Gvir: “Since our hostages have not even received a visit from the Red Cross, there is no point in giving the enemy humanitarian gifts”
The Israeli prime minister receives criticism from the right Benjamin Netanyahu for his decision to allow to allow two tankers a day to enter Gaza for humanitarian reasons.
First National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir criticized the war cabinet’s decision to allow small amounts of fuel into Gaza.
Ben Gvir said the council – made up of Prime Minister Benny Gantz, Defense Minister Yoav Galand, Minister Benny Gantz and several observers – “leads Israel to a wrong policy.”
“Since our hostages haven’t even had a visit from the Red Cross, there’s no point to give the enemy humanitarian gifts” the far-right minister commented according to the Times of Israel.
Finance Minister Bejalel Smotrich also commented that allowing the entry of fuel “it is a serious mistake and contradicts the decision of the cabinet.”
“Such a move “radiates weakness, gives oxygen to the enemy and allows to (Gaza Hamas leader Yahya) Sinwar to sit comfortably in his air-conditioned bunker, watch the news and continue to manipulate Israeli society and the families of the abductees,” he added.
