The movie “Amateur” of the 20th Century starring the Oscar winner, Rami Malekwill be among the first productions to begin filming in London next month, sources tell Deadline.

Filming on the James Hawes-directed spy thriller had begun in June, but was forced to halt when the actors’ strike began.

The star cast is completed by Rachel Brosnahan and Laurence Fishburne, along with Adrian Martinez, Holt McCallany, Julian Nicholson.

Gary Spinelli is writing the script which follows a CIA agent who, after the tragic death of his wife in a terrorist attack in London, demands that his bosses track down the perpetrators. When it becomes clear that nothing is going to be done due to conflicting internal interests he asks the agency to train to arrest them himself.

Hutch Parker, Dan Wilson and Rami Malek are producing, with Bleecker Street acquiring US distribution rights.
