The third group of Israeli hostages was handed over to the Red Cross by Hamas as part of the implementation of the four-day ceasefire agreement, which began on Friday.

Today, 13 Israeli hostages from Hamas and 39 Palestinians from Israeli prisons are expected to be released.

During the first two days of the implementation of the agreement, 26 Israelis, 14 Thais and one Filipino have been released, while 78 Palestinians, mostly women and young people, have been released from Israeli prisons.

Earlier, Egypt had announced that at approximately 16:00 in the afternoon, Greek time, it received the lists of the names of the 13 hostages who will be released today by Hamas as well as the 39 Palestinians who will be released from Israeli prisons.

Diaa Raswan, head of the Egyptian State Intelligence Service (SIS) had stressed in a statement that the ceasefire continues to be observed without obstacles, stressing that 120 trucks carrying humanitarian aid entered the Palestinian enclave from Egypt today.
