A 15-year-old student has died at a North Carolina school after being stabbed to death by a 14-year-old classmate.

Specifically, the two students stabbed each other Monday at Southeast Raleigh Magnet High School and the 15-year-old student later died from his injuries, while another 16-year-old student remained hospitalized with life-threatening injuries, ABC7 Chicago reports.

Cell phone videos circulating on social media captured a brawl that broke out and then, minutes later, two students were stabbed.

Local police chief Estella Patterson said there had been an argument before the stabbing.

“A lot of people were screaming and crying”

Daniella Fortin has opened up about the shocking experience in gym class on her first day back from Thanksgiving break. “A lot of people were screaming and crying,” he said.

“There were a lot of people around him and they were very worried about him and it was very scary,” Fortin said of the student who later died. “A very traumatic experience, there were videos of what happened… It was so sad to see all the videos.”

These videos will be evidence for the police.
