The tactic of threats and verbal provocations towards Greece is continued by the Minister of Defense of Turkey Hulusi Akar.
In an interview with Hurriyet, he states that Greece’s bilateral alliances will cause damage and cracks in NATO and that it is not logical “not to look at your boy and your power”.
“In the Mediterranean, some countries do not look at their boy and their power and try to take on some roles,” he said.
Reversing the reality, Akar states that Ankara is a guarantee of peace and stability in the region. He turns his arrows against France, saying that he is trying to ally with Greece in the energy sector, but he is also supplying it with weapons, causing damage to both NATO and Greece.
