THE Hamas claimed responsibility for the attack with firearms that occurred this morning at Jerusalemas a result to kill three peopleand called for “escalating resistance” against Israel.

“Brothers Mourad Nemr (age 38) and Ibrahim Nemr (age 30) (…), members of the Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades from Sur Baher”East Jerusalem neighborhood, “sacrificed by running a business” in which “three settlers were killed and others injured,” Hamas said in a statement.
The Palestinian organization added that “the operation was carried out as a natural response to the unprecedented crimes committed by the occupation”referring to Israel’s military campaign in Gaza and the treatment of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons.
