As announced by the Israeli military, fighters “hit launch sites, terrorist infrastructure and a military building complex” in response to “launches (rockets) from Lebanon against Israel”.
The Israeli army announced that it had again hit positions of the Shiite armed movement Hezbollah on Lebanese soil, retaliating with rocket fire.
Israeli warplanes “hit launch sites, terrorist infrastructure and a military building complex” in response to “launches (rockets) from Lebanon against Israel,” the Israeli military (Chahal) said.
“Furthermore, by retaliating a launch from Lebanon against the Zarit area in northern Israel,” the Israeli military hit “the point from which it was fired.” And yet, “in order to eliminate the threat, the Israeli armed forces hit a few more locations” in Lebanese territory.
Earlier, Chahal announced that three of his members were slightly injured in an attack. Hezbollah, for its part, claimed responsibility for the strikes against the soldiers and other targets.
The escalation on the Israel/Lebanon border against the backdrop of the war launched by the Israeli army against the Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas in the Gaza Strip on October 7 is being described as the worst since the 2006 war.
