Comedian Chevy Chase is doing well after a wheelchair accident on stage Wednesday night.

The 80-year-old actor fell off the stage at Shea’s Performing Arts Center in Buffalo, New York, before a speech he was due to give.

A rep for the actor told PEOPLE, “He fell from a poorly lit part of the stage, but having learned from all his falls on SNL, it was like he was riding a bike again. Just a little mess. It’s all good.”

In the video released by TMZ, the actor appeared to enter the stage in a wheelchair to applause from the crowd, but was soon on his feet. He then walked to the front end of the stage where, shortly after, he fell forward and off the stage.

After he was helped back on stage, the actor’s wife helped him into his seat for the chat.
