Seven Palestinians were killed today in the West Bank city of Jenin during an Israeli army raid, the Palestinian Authority’s health ministry and the Palestinian WAFA news agency announced.

Five of the victims were hit by a drone.

According to these sources, among the dead is a 13-year-old who cooled down after Israeli forces prevented an ambulance from taking him to a hospital to provide him with first aid.

The Israeli military confirmed the drone strike, saying it killed an unspecified number of Palestinians who were spotted firing improvised explosive devices at Israeli forces. The soldiers, he added, were trying to find explosive devices that had been placed on roads to hit the security forces. During this operation they found weapons, ammunition, bombs, tunnels and destroyed a bomb manufacturing site.

According to WAFA, another person was injured in Al Shibat district of Jenin.
