British Foreign Secretary David Cameron announced today that Jewish settlers in the West Bank responsible for violence against Palestinians will be banned from entering the country.

“Extremist settlers, targeting and killing Palestinian civiliansundermine the security and stability of both Israelis and Palestinians,” Cameron commented in X.

“Israel must take stronger action to stop settler violence and to hold the perpetrators accountable. We are banning those responsible for settler violence from entering Britain to ensure that our country does not become a haven for people who commit these acts of intimidation,” he added.

Earlier this week the head of the European diplomacy Josep Borrell had said he would propose imposing sanctions against Jewish settlers responsible for violent actions against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.
