“This is a video of heinous terrorism showing the brutality of Hamas against elderly, innocent civilians in need of medical assistance,” military spokesman Daniel Hagari commented.
The Hamas attack on Israeli soil has killed around 1,140 people, most of them civilians, according to an AFP tally based on official Israeli figures. About 240 people were kidnapped and 129 of them are being held hostage in Gaza, according to Israeli authorities.
In retaliation, Israeli forces bombed Gaza and began ground operations in the enclave on October 27. Based on the latest tally released by the Hamas government, since the start of hostilities 19,453 people have been killed, mostly women, children and teenagers.
