The Czech Republic mourns and honors today the 14 dead (students and professors) left behind by the 24-year-old student at Charles University in Prague, David Kozak, who opened fire indiscriminately and then killed himself.

The carnage in Prague by the 24-year-old sniper is one of the deadliest attacks by a lone gunman in Europe this century.

The authorities’ investigations also reveal that before the massacre at the University of Charles, the 24-year-old he had killed his fatherwhile authorities are investigating his involvement in two more murders, of a 32-year-old father and his two-month-old daughter, with the gun found in Kozak’s home matching the bullets found in the two bodies.
