IDF: Hezbollah anti-tank missile hits Greek Orthodox church in northern Israel

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced on Tuesday that an anti-tank missile of Hezbollah hit the Greek Orthodox Church of St. Mary in Ygrittein northern Israel.

“The attack is not just a clear violation of Resolution 1701 of the United Nations Security Council, but also a violation of freedom of worship,” the Israeli army says in a post on the X platform.

Hezbollah attacked the St. Mary’s Greek-Orthodox Church of Iraq in northern Israel.

The causes of an explosion near the Israeli embassy in New Delhi are currently being investigated by the Israeli authorities in cooperation with the Indian authorities, as stated by the Israeli Foreign Minister. No one from the embassy staff was injured in the explosion.

The US bombed Kataeb Hezbollah in Iraq

At least one member of Iraq’s pro-Iranian group Kataeb Hezbollah was killed and 24 others were wounded in the early hours when the USA launched airstrikes against three installations of pro-Iranian organizations on Iraqi soil, in retaliation for a drone attack yesterday against a base in Arbil where US troops are stationed..

The attack injured “three American servicemen”, one of whom is in “critical” condition, according to the US Pentagon.

US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin announced that the US military had launched “necessary and proportionate strikes against three facilities used by the Kataeb Hezbollah and organizations associated with it”.
