Right-wing extremists in Germany are targeting in a coordinated way the creation of communities independent of the state, according to the country’s intelligence service and government ministries.

Authorities and NGOs monitoring far-right groups say that members of the Reichsbürger movement rejecting the German state after 1945 make a concerted effort to establish parallel societies and infiltrate existing structuresincluding schools, clubs and public offices, reports o Guardian.

According to a recent request for information at the federal interior ministry by Martina Renner of the opposition leftist party Die Linke, far-right extremist organizations have bought 40 properties across Germany in the past two years.

It’s about accelerating a pattern seen for more than a decadewhereby hard-to-sell properties such as houses, pubs and plots of land are destroyed and used by right-wing groups.

“Real estate is of less interest to the Reichsbürger and the far-right scene as investments. Rather, they are used to create parallel societies and create spaces of intimidation for all those who do not share their view of the world.”Renner said.

Among the most well-known organizations is the Kingdom of Germany (Kingdom of Germany) or KRDfounded in 2012 in an elaborate ceremony and has its own currency and constitution that gives it a state structure.

He pursues expansive goals by acquiring what he calls “national territory” buying land and real estate.

German authorities use the term Reichsbürger (citizens of the empire) to refer to all far-right groups who reject the Federal Republic of Germany and aim to overthrow the government, including the KRD, although he rejects the term.
