Matthew Perry, the beloved Chandler of the iconic series “Friends,” was apparently using the online dating app Raya to meet people who would supply him with drugs, even while undergoing periods of 24-hour residential treatment and supervision, sources tell the Daily Mail.

Perry was found dead at the age of 54 in his home hot tub in October after a ketamine overdose, shocking the public and saddening millions of fans around the world.

The actor claimed in his memoirs in 2022 that he had managed to get off the drug after several failed attempts that even cost him $9 million.

According to the Daily Mail, however, this is not true, he was “never clean”.

Despite having medical staff, caregivers and a 24/7 nursing team at his $6 million Pacific Palisades mansion, Perry managed to secretly possess illegal substances without being detected, sources now explain .

“He would meet girls on dating apps and get them to get him drugs and come to the house. It was mostly Oxycontin [ένα ισχυρό οπιοειδή παυσίπονο]. He was also taking illegal substances from old girlfriends, there was some kind of network,” the source said, among other things.
