As he always does, Barack Obama publishes just before the new year a list of his favorite songs for 2023 – he also does it for books – and this year there is also a list of his favorite movies.
His playlist is a mix of hits from singer-songwriters from around the world and for all musical tastes.

In terms of greatest hits, they are definitely the top two on the former US president’s list like Karol G and Shakira’s ‘TQG’ and Zach Bryan and Kacey Musgraves’ ‘I Remember Everything’.
He also didn’t miss out on songs from artists he’s shown love for in the past, including Beyonce (“America Has a Problem,” featuring Kendrick Lamar), Allison Russell (“The Returner”), Jason Isbell and 400 Unit (“Cast Iron Skillet”), Burna Boy (“Sittin’ On Top of the World,” featuring 21 Savage), Megan Thee Stallion (“Cobra”) and Big Thief (“Vampire Empire” ).
