The Russians sent Valieva to fight in Beijing knowing she was doped

The Russian Olympic Committee knew that 15-year-old figure skating champion Kamila Valieva had tested positive for doping but again sent her to participate in the Winter Olympics in Beijing.

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has confirmed the positive example of the Russian woman who shone in the team event, helping her country to win the gold medal on Monday once again, and even shining with the fourfold rotation in the air.

The positive sample had been taken since December, before the European Championship, which was won by the teenage champion, and the Russian anti-doping organization, the sinner RUSADA, arbitrarily lifted its temporary ban, according to ITA. The International Olympic Committee is now challenging this decision.

On Friday, the Russian athlete stopped training early and left with her head bowed and hidden behind a hood, knowing that now the entire Russian team will lose the gold medal.

On Wednesday, the Russian newspaper RBK revealed in the middle of the Olympics that Valieva had tested positive in December, and thus a scandal broke out that still postpones the medal ceremony for the figure skating team in Beijing.

It is recalled that it was the assurance that the promise was that RUSADA has changed and is now credible, in the standards of the world organization (WADA) that allowed it to resume the controls of Russian athletes, while Russia remains excluded from the Olympics.

The Russians are participating under the banner of the Russian Olympic Committee, which is now accused of not only covering up the scandal with Valieva but also allowing her to participate in the Olympics.
