People who applied in October 2023 will be notified today that their applications have been accepted.
Thanks to the DiscoverEU initiative, funded by the Erasmus+ programme, 36,138 Europeans aged 18 and over will each receive a free travel pass to explore Europe’s diversity, get to know its cultural heritage and history and make new friends.

With the DiscoverEU pass, they will have the opportunity to travel mainly by train, from March 2024 to May 2025.

The latest DiscoverEU application round was aimed at young people from EU Member States and Erasmus+ associated countries born between 1 January 2005 and 31 December 2005. In total, 144,038 young people applied in this round. DiscoverEU also includes an educational dimension, organizing pre-departure information seminars or meetings across Europe. Young people participating in the program can join the official DiscoverEU Facebook group to connect with the DiscoverEU community.
